The Recent Fire at Auckland

(PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, October 20. Additional Particulars. — At the fire at the Phoenix Foundry (G. Fraser «fc Sons) last night, the loss amounts to £10,000. The origin is unknown. It started in the pattern loft. The general policy on the Phoenix Foundry was held by the New Zealand Insurance Company, the total amount being £7,600. Re-insurances are as follows : —New Zealand, £1250; South British, £1000; Alliance, £1000; Commercial Union, £750 ; Phoenix, £750; Imperial, £600 ; National, £500 ; Victoria, £500; North British, £SQQ ; Norwich Union, £500 ; and Standard £250. Total : £7600. '
