The Public Trust Office, constituted hy "The Public Trust Office Act, 1872," has been since much enlarged in its functions by amending Acts, to meet growing requirements. The Amendment Act of 18S1 facilitates administration, authorises prompt distribution. provides absolute security against loss to estates from investments at the discretion of the l'ubhc Trustee, and insures the regular payment of the interest. The Security and Fidelity of the rub. Ho Trustee's administration must be considered of the utmost importance to every person contemplating the appointment of a trustee. The colony (fiiarantvcs Die fidelity ot the administration, and Guarantees aISO the Integrity of the Capital Funds invested at the option of the l'nblic Trustee. The Colony Guarantees also, on the capital funds arising for investment out of the properties placed in the Public Trust Office, a common rate of iuterest, to bo paid quarterly, Free of all charges of the Public Trust Office. 1 The value of this guarantee is in the 1 Guarantee of the Colony ayainst loss from investments in bad or Insufficient securities, aud against loj>s from delay in investuieut, and tor the regular and punctual jiaymontof the interest, free of alt charges of tlia Public Trust Office.
