N.S.W. Rifle Association Meeting

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Sydney, October 18. In consequence of a gale the weather was most unfavourable for the shooting to-day. The Queen's prize was won by Seaman Nelson, of New South Wales, with a score of 171 ; Brown, of Auckland, with 50, and Willie, of Upper Hutt, with 43, secured prizes in the third stage. This Day. The following are the New Zealand prize takers in the aggregates for the Queen's prize : — Brown, A Battery, Auckland, (who took 4th prise with a score of 163) ; Captain W. H. Ballinger, PetoneEifl* Club, 161; Private Leigh, Victoria Rifles, Auckland, 140 ; Seaman Babe, Wellington ffavals, and Webster, A Battery, 146. In the first series of the Dangar match, Ballinger 44, and Brown 43, were among the priz** takers.
