A large and interested asseniblagi chiefly of ladies, met at St Mary's Churel Menvale, this afternoon, to witness th marriage of Captain Hunter-Blair, th brother of tbe Countess of Glasgow, an Miss Emily E bodes, the younges daughter of the late Mr it. H. Rhodes The church, which was beautifully dccc rated with white flowers and evergreen: was densely crowded, and a large numbe of persons assembled in the acrjoiuin grounds, The Bishop of Cliristchurch assisted by the Key Walter Harper, con ducted tbe marriage ceremony. Th bride was given away by her brother Mr K. H. Ehodea. His Excellency th Governor and Lady Glasgow, wen among the guests present.
