In the Merchants' Continuous Match Doughty, scored 33 out of a possible of 35. In tho first stage for the Queen's Prize. Tobin. of New Zealand, leads with 67 out of a possible 70, This Day. In tho first stage of the Queen's Match (300 and 500 yards), Tobin of Auckland, who was top scorer, made five successive bull eyes at .500 yards. Captain VV. Ballinger, of the Petone Rifle Club, Sergeant Doughty, of A Battery, Auckland, and Gunner Howe, of D Battery, Wellington, each take a prize in the match. Last year Private Kruse, of the Wanganui Rifles, won this match with a score of 64 points.
