We sold— Cattle— Three-year bullocks, £5 ; 2|steers, £3 14s; 2£-year heifers, £8 10s; cows and calves, L 4 16s ; yearlings, L 2 6s to L 2 12s ; weaners, 30s. Sheep—Forward shorn wethers, 10s 6d ; hoggets, lls 3d to 13s ; aged ewes and lambs, 8s Id to 10s 2d. Egmont Fanners' Union stock re- ! port :— We had a good entry of both cattle and sheep at Okaiawa on Thursday, the sth instant, the yards being full. We quote— Cattle— Steers, 2 to 8-year, L 4 2s to L 4 17s ; 12 to 18-month steers, L 2 to L 3 lls ; springers, £5 to L 7 15s ; cows and heifers in calf, L 3 Is to L 4 ss. Sheep — Fat ewes, 13b Id ; hoggets, 7s 9d. Our Manaia sale was well patronised on Wednesday, the 10th inst., the chief feature being tbe dairy stock offered by the executor of the late George Glenn, which attracted a number of buyers, though tbe yards were full of other kinds of cattle as well. We quote— Cattle — Steers, 18»month to 2 year, L 8 2s to L 4 7s 6d ; mixed yearlings, L 2 4d to L 2 16s ; springers, L 5 5s to L 6 10s fat and forward cows, L 8 10s to L 4 8s 6d ; 18. month to 2-year heifers, L 2 19s toLS lls. The late George Glenn's dairy stock made from L 3 10s up to L 8 sd.
