Hawke's Bay Agricultural Show
(per press association.) Hastings, October 3 There was glorious weather for the second day of tbe Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral show, and there was a very large attendance, including visitors from various parts of tbe colony. In thoroughbred horses, Mr Ormond's Dreadnought took first and champion, Mr Gollan's Jet d'Eau second, and Mr Douglas' Waterfall third prize. Among the mares. Captain Russell's Dorelei took first and champion. Mr Douglas McLean secured first and champion in draught horses with British Lton, and Mr J. N. Williams first and champion with the mare Diamond. In the cattle classes, Mr A. McHardy was awarded first and champion for his bull Belinda, and Archdeacon S. Williams secured first and champion for his cow Mignon.
