The first Sabbath School anniversary in connection with tho Cosmopolitan Church, at Waituna, will be commemorated next Sunday, October Bth, by special seryices being held in the Church morning, afternoon, and evening. The Rev. W. Watkin, of Sandon, will be the preacher. Hymns from " The Childrens 1 Hosannah " will be sung. On the Tuesday following, a public tea will be provided in Mr Benson's paddock, weather permitting, after which a public meeting will be held in the church, when addresses will be given by the Roys. Watkin, Fee, aud others. Recitations by the children, and eolo-, duets, and quartets, by a number cf friends. — Adyi.
