I Per Press Association. | London, October 2. A mass meeting of miners passed a resolution that the nationalisation of collieries was the only remedy for the dispute. Mr Ben TiJlett said the owners had not succeeded in their attempt to starve the strikers. Sydnkv, October 2. The Eight Hours Demonstration to- . day was celebrated as a public holiday. Thirty-one unionist societies took part in the procession through the streets, and afterwards held a great sports meeting at Kosehill.
