FEILDING STATE SCHOOL.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir,— Might I be permitted to suggest that the School Committee, which meets to-night, should consider the proposed postponement of the annual examination for six months. If carried out this will be very unfair to those children who are advanced in their standards, and such a serious wrong as throwing them back for a year should not be passed unnoticed. What if the percentage is low ? We all know there has been a lot of sickness and that can't be helped. I trust members of the Committee will move in the matter and have an examination this side of Christmas. I am, etc., Parent.
