The Public Trust Office, constituted hy "The l'ublic Trust Ollice Act, 1672," has been since much enlarged in its functions by amending Acts, to meet crowing requirements. The Amendment Act ol 18'Jl facilitates administration, authorises prompt distribution, provides absolute security against loss to estates from Investments at the discretion of the l'ublic Trustee, aud i insures the regular payment of tho interest. The Security and Fidelity of tho Public Trustee's administration must bo considered of the utmost importance to overy person contemplating the appointment of a trustee. Tho colony guarantees the fidelity of the administration, and Guarantees also the Integrity of the Capital Funds invested at the option of tho Public Trustee.
