Publicans in Trouble
(rEH PRESS associations Wellington, This Day. Stephen Dealey, licensee of the Panama Hotel, who pleaded guilty to a charge of selling after hours, was fined £10 and costs. A similar charge was preferred against the Army and Navy, hut a witness, who in the stabbing case had said he was drinking in the hotel, now con tradictcd himself, and the other evidence was also contradictory. The R.M. said he had no option but to dismiss the charge. __________________
