' [Per Press Association.] I AVellington, This Day. Tho Education Board has decided to ; raise tbe salaries of female teachers all i round by about 10 per cent., also to increase some of tho male salaries to the amount previous to tbe reduction effected f 6 years ago. The extra cost will be about £1400 per annum, but as tho schools in the country districts not now paying are rapidly increasing in attendance, it is ex- , pected they will, before long, afford some ; relief to the strain on tho Board's funds,
