(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington. September 25. The Council met at 2.30. The Joint Statutes Revision Committee recommended the Conspiracy Law Amendment Bill be not further proceeded with. The report of the Privileges Committee, and report of the conference on the Licensing Bill were agreed to. The Government Railways Act Amendment B^ll came up for its second reading, and after a debate was agreed to on the voices, its committal being set down for next day.
