At a meeting of citizens to-day, it was decided to invite subscriptions for a memorial to the late Mr Levin, It was proposed that the Library buildings should be completed, and an addition to be called the Levin wing, but as it was estimated tho work would cost LSOOO, it was thought better not to determine the exact form of the memorial until it was seen what sura was likely to be available, though it was stated the proposal was agreeable to the wishes of the family.
