Attempt to Wreck a Train
fPcr Press Association.] Hohart, This Day. A dastardly attempt was made to wreck the express train between Launcoston and Hobart on Wednesday night. The engine and one passenger carriage were derailed, and the former was hanging orer a precipice. The rails had been loosened from the sleepers and a log placed across the permanent way. The Government have offered LSOO reward for the discovery of the perpetrators.
