Mr Matthew Henry reports: — There was a good number of cattle of various ages. Sheop were in limited numbers. The nttendanco was a full average. For young cattlo the demand was active and tho bidding well maintained, for forward bullocks aud. fat cows good valuo wae obtained. Again dairy stock was n«glected The most of the stock yarded was disposed of at auction at the follow* ing quotations : — Cattle.— Forward bullocks, £0 2s; fat cows, £6; yearling steers, i' 4 l?s (id ; yourhngs, £2 9s to £3. "Weaner?, 20d to 42«. Sheep.— Medium hoggets, 9.s ;sd.
