New South Wales Rifle Competition
[Per Press Association! Wellington, September 20. It is expected that New Zealand re presentation at N.S.W. Rifle Association meeting next month will be as follows : Auckland, eight ; Napier, two ; Wanganui, tbrea ; Chnstchurch, four ; Oatnaru, two ; Dunedin, five; lnvercargill, five; Wellington, 7 ; total 36. The Union Company have agreed to make a concession in the fares to Australia, and the price has been fixed from Auckland to Sydney, and Bluff to Melbourne, or Wellington to Sydney, at £8 for return passage. If the number of compotitors increases further concession will probably be made. The first of a series of competitions to select Wellington competitors takes place on Saturday.
