Campbelitown Items.
[FBOM OUR OWS COUKKM'ONDENT.] Mr J. Darragh has lately opened a branch store here, in connection with his store in Feilding, in which he intends to meet the required wants of the com. munity. The store is now under the supervision of Mr Coppen, nnd is built on tho edge of the Square. Owing to insufficiency of room for the required variety of goods, Mr Darragh intends to enlarge the building to nearly twice its sixe, and to keep articles " from a needle to au anchor." Mr A. Hickford linsliad the rnisfortxine lately to lose one of his coach horses. The horse it appears caught cold, which resulted in its speedy death. The loss of the horse is estimated at £2~». and great sympathy is felt for Mr Hickford in the heavy loss he has sustained Mr Corpe ha«s now erected another separator in connection with his iaetory here, to meet the increasing quantity of milk which is expected to be had in the summer. Last week about two and a half thousand gallons of milk were separated. The school here is to be opened again to-day, after being dosed for a fortnight through tho prevalency of measles which have greatly abated now.
