Cuninngharn, Badham, and Co.'s weekly Wellington horse sale report. — There is no alteration in prices since last week. There is still a great difliculty in netting really good, young, reliable harness horses. This we attribute, in a great measure, to the very large number that is being bought up for shipment to India, as a shipment of 100 head will be sent away about the end of this month. LIB to L2O could be obtained for some good sorts suitable for bakers' and batchers' carts. As there is not much contracting poing on at present, the demand for draughts has eased off a little, and from L2O to L2B for young sound horses is about the price obtainable, Ll2 to Ll6 for second-class sorts, and aged and unsound animals range from L 4 to LS. Hacks are not much sought after, but those that come forward generally find purchasers at prices according to description and quality. [Per Press Association] Auckland, September 15.
