Messrs Abraham and Williams report : — At oar Pahiatua sale on the 6th inst. we bad a foil entry of cattle, but only one or two pens of sheep. Young cattle of both sexes brought full values, as also did fat cattle. Dairy cattle re* ceded in value, with, the exception of Mr Reichenbach's dairy cows, which produced spirited bidding. Hoggets advanced with a strong and unsatisfied demand. The following prices were rea« Used .—Pat steers, L 6 10s to L 7 16s ; 3 -year steers, L 4 15s to L 5 6s 6d ; 2-year steers, L34s6d to L 3 7s ; mixed year* lings, L2Bs6d to L 2 19s ; calves, 31s to 365; Mr Seicbenbach's cows, L 5 18s 6d to L 9; others, L 3 10s to L 5 15«. Fat and forward ewes, 9s 6d to 10s 7d ; hoggets, 9s 7d to 108. Horse and trap, L 29. For Mr Heichenbach's farm, L 8 10s was offered and refused, as the offer was not in accordance with the vendor's ideas.
