Wilmot, of New Zealand, put up the record for the colony in his heat, but owing to his win in the championship he did not start in the final. Five-mile Championship — Wilmot, Ne«r Zealand, 1 ; Kerr, Sydney, 2 ; Nickliu, Queensland, 3 Won by five yards. Time, 15min 1 l-ssec. Three Mile Handicap— Harrey, Syd» ney, 1 ; Hayward, New Zealand, 2 ; Adams, Queensland, 3. Time, Bmin 15 1-osec.
