The Public Trust Office, constituted by "Tho Public Trust Office Act, 1872," lms been since much enlarged in its functions by amending Acts, to meet growing requirements. The Amendment Act of 1691 facilitates ailministration, authorises prompt distribution, provides absolute security against loss to estates from investments at the discretion of the l'ublic Trustee, and insures the regular payment of the interest. Tbe Security and Fidelity of the Pub. lie Trustee's administration must be considered of the utmost importance to every person contemplating the appointment of a trustee. Tho colony </i«moi<<es tin: fidelity of the administration, and Guarantees also the Integrity of the Capital Funds invested at the option of the I'ubliu Trustee. The Colony Guarantees also, on the capital funds arising for investment out of the properties placed in the Public Trust Office, a common rate of interest, to bo paid quarterly, Free of all charges of the Public Trust Office. Tho value of this guarantee is in the Guarantee of the Colony against loss from investments in bad or insufficient securities, und against loss from delay in investment, and for the regular and punctual payment of tho interest, free of allchanjesof tha Public Trust Ofjice.
