This week's number, in the farming column, contains tin article for the treat* incut of smut in wheat and oats, by the Jensen, or hot water method. Under the fruit and flower notes will be found useful hints on the sotting of strawberry plants. Bill IS'ye describes his tirst lecture tind how he felt while delivering it. The dairyist is well catered fur in the description of a farm creamery under the superintendence of a College graduato who makes prime butter. A short story entitled " The Witch Maiden. 1 ' will, no doubt, catch the eyes of iho ladies, for whom also a number of interesting household remedies and recipes are provided. The light reading matter is exceptionally uood, and altogether this week's supplement is a Tory excellent one and in every way equal to its predecessors.
