Gorton and Son's Htock report :— We had not our full number of sheep at Marton on Tuesday, a line of 8!X) sheep not coining forward. The other entries wore of a good class, some of which were sold at undermentioned prices ; and some were turned out unsold not reaching vendors' reserves. liJa whs bid for a ijood line of wethers, 13a 6d being voudors' reserve Our quotations aro :- -Ewe hoggets woolly 12s lOd, mixed woolly hoggets 10s yd, 2-tooth wethers 12s Hd. Johnson villk, August 30. Messrs Freeman It. Jackson and Co.'s Johnson villa stock report: — The cattle entered for sale were of a medium quality ; bidding throughout was brisk. Sheep were in usual numbers but no prime ones were yarded, and prices receded Is per head. Pigs Wfl re keenly competed for and made capital prices.
