The Supreme Court has sanctioned the reconstruction scheme of Goldsborogh, Mort and Co. The Premier in the Legislative Assembly, said when the new contracts for tbe carriage of mails between England and the Colony came under review tbe Government intend to stipulate for a servico under HO days. The Solicitor-General has written to Magistrate Panton censuring his action with regard to tho Mercantile Bank case. Sydney, August 22.
