We quite agreo with a proposal to make licensing districts conterminous with tho electoral dictncta, but there is one difficulty which will arise from the arrangement under tho Direct Veto provisions, which does not seem jet to have boon notified. The electoral districts ate subject to periodical re-adjustment of boundaries, and this ro- arrangement will not be coiucideut with tho triennial licensing polls. Licensed houses in one electoral didtnct might almost immediately after tho Prohibition poll Cud themselves transferred to another electoral district, in which the yote had boen entirely difforout from that in tho district thoy woro originally situated in.
