Cordons of soldiers Mid policemen sur« round tho working districts in Kbbw Valo. 20,000 Welshmen nre marching on Merthvr Treharris Collieries to compel tho cessation of work. Paris, August 18. The French workers attacked aome I Italian labourers in the vicinity of the ! mines and a general imlcr took place. Ten persom were killed and forty injured.
