A SAD CASE OF DEBAUCHERY. (From the Post Correspondent.) Dunkdin, August 17. Major Keddell, Coroner, held an in« quirj into the circumstances attending the death of Mary Skimming and Lowry Skimming, residing in Shag Valley. Tho woman whs found dend in her bed on Friday morning, with a wound oo her forehead and other marks, and subsequently the husband committed .suicide by cutting his throat. Skimming and his wife lived on Rood terms, but were given to periodical bouts of drinking. One of these bouts commenced a fort* night ago, and for eight or ten days they simply soaked themselves in whiskey. When last seen alive they were coming home with a newly-purchased supply of liquor, and both under the influence of drink. The woman is supposed to have fallen against a stool and fractured her skull. Skimming was found in a stable with his throat cut from ear to ear.
