(I'EB FBEBS ASSOCIATION). Auckland. August 17 David Ross Simpson, who fell from the top storey window of the Railway Terminus Motel, died at the hospital this afternoon. He was single ana Scotch. He was 45 years of age. Ho had latterly fallen into money through the death of his parents. On his dying deposition to the constable, Simpson said he remembered going out of his bedroom into an* other room, and then falling out oi the window. He did not know why he went into tho room, or how he came to fall out of the window. DUNKIUN, AugUßfc 17. At the City Court, George Dowso was hoed L 5 and costs, aud treble (lie amouut of tho tax for failing to send his iv. come tax returns. Two other cases were adjourned. The weather is very wintry ; there was a slight fall of snow. Mastktton, August 17. Tho championship cup presented by Mr J. J.
