Shipping Casualties.
[Per Press Association.] Auckland. This Day. The Janet, cutter, from Norfolk Island, brings news that two weeks ago the Mary Ogilvie, a regular trader from Sydney, was driven ashore during a gale and became a total wreck. The cuptain and crew came to Auckland with the Janet. The ship Girvan, from Newcastle, with 1097 tons of coal was thrown on her beam ends in a gale, on Juno 9, off Lord Howe island. The cargo shifted and the vessel began to steadily settle down. The crew wore taken off by the barque George Thompson, and the same night the foundered. The crew were at Norfolk Island when the Janet left.
