Proposed Bridge at the Apiti
The I'ohaneina Road Board havo received the following letter from the Lands nnd Survey Department ro a bridge over the Oroua river at Apiti. stating that «v section for the bridge site has been taken, and it is estimated that it will cost XI OSO including the approaches and metalling, and adding that as the amouut already required for roads is very largely in excess of what the Government will be able to provide, the Department desired to know what portion of the estimated cost the Pohangina Board would expect the Goy. erquient to provide.
