The Farmers' Alliance report as follows on their sale at Feilding yesterday. Notwithstanding the inclement weather there wts a good attendance of buyers. Although some of the advertised lines did not come to hand, still several unexpected lots rolled up, and a very good sale resulted, all the lots of sheep and all lines of cattle, with one or two exceptions, being quitted. We quote : Cattle—Fat cows, L 5 ; springing heif. ers, L 4 6s to L 6 ; steers, L29s to L 4 10s ; yearlings, 39s 6d ; 31a to 375. Sheep— Ewes in lamb, 12s 2d; 2 to 4tooth wethers, 9s to 12s 6d • hoggets. 8s 9dtolOs2d. Messrs Lowes and lorns stock report. —We held our sale at Masterton on Wednesday, and the following prices were realised : — Cattle— 2-year steers, 92s 6d to L 5 7s 6d ; beef, 20s per lOOlbs; fat cows L 5 15s to £6 17s 6d ; store cows, 70s to 84s ; a number of dairy cows were passed in at Lo 15s to L 6 15s. Sheep-Fat ewes, 12s ; lighter do., 11s 9d ; ewes m lamb, 10s 6d : old crocks, 3s od ; medium hoggets, Bs.
