The United Farmers' Alliance report : At the Birmingham sale yesterday, owing to the inclement state of the weather, many of the lines adrertised did not come forward. The attendance was good, and what stock did pat in an appearance brought fair prices. We qnote :— Spring, iog heiters, £4 18* ; 2£<.year steers, £4 ss ; milch cows, £5 10s to £5 17s 6d. Old ewes, in lamb, 9s 3d ; small cull hoggets, 3s sd.
