Banquet to Mr Bruce, M.H.R.
(PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Hawkra, This Day. About eighty persona attended the Bruce banquet, which went off very successfully. Great disappointment was felt that the seventeen or eighteen members of Parliament who had arranged to come were unable to get through owing to the interruption of railway traffic. The proceedings wero very cordial. Mr Bruce was presented with a library, con« fiistiug ot 250 books.
