Arbor Day.
Owing to the continued rain, the Borough Council decided, last night, to postpone the celebration of Arbor Day until Wednesday, the lflth instant. (PER FttESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, This Day. Arbor Day was only observed as a holiday in the public offices aud a few mercantile houses. The general opinion is Friday, or the fourth, or Monday ought to bo avoided in the future. Wellington, This Day. Heavy rain interfered with Arbor Day aud the proceedings were postponed.
