TO TIIK EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sib, — The total rainfall for the past month of July was 534 inches, and rain fell on 19 dnys during the month- The heaviest fall in one day was I*9o inches, registered on tho 6th. and l'O7 was registered on the sth. There were nine frosty nights, and the minimnm tempera* ture was 26 degrees during the night of the 21st. The rainfall for the past months of June and July (B'9o inches) has exceeded by about two inches the rainfall during those months since 1887, when there was a fall of 961 inches.
