The Govern, tnent to be asked to appoint a commission to enquire into the condition of the railways before resuming control. In the event of the Government refusing a commission, they be asked for a return of the cost of F.M engineer?, and the amount they have returned for the outlay. The next meeting to be held in Otaki. Delegates from about 15 towns were present.
