ANOTHER VICTORY FOR NEW ZEALAND. C?BB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] Bathurst, July 26. The New Zealand Rugby football team won the match against Bathurst to-day by 24 points to 5. There was a good attendance and fine cool weather. In the first half of the game the visitors had it mostly their own wav and the local men were only once in their ground, but made good use of their opportunity and scored a try from which a goal was kicked. The rest of the time they were mostly busy defending their lines. Murray, Oliphant and Jems secured tries, from which Jervis kicked one goal. In the second spell New Zealand had it all their own way, and three more tries were obtained by Bayley, Butland and Shannon, from which the Auckland crack kicked two more goals, making the score 24 to 5. Colquohoun made one good attempt at a pot, but that was the only approach to a score by the local men, whilst the ball was repeatedly dangerously near their lines, and more than one of the New Zealanders nearly got over. Thu Day. The inoluslon of the four new men from New Zealand was manifest in the scrums in jesterday's game. Oliphant and Gray played an excellent game. Lambie and Hiroa, too, were prominent among the forward division. Batland and Shannon, the two halves, and Bayley, three-quarter, were the piok of the backs, the latter making several strong ruilies. The local forwards were very strong, but a lack of combination was apparent, and thej were badly supported by the backs. Jervi* did not appear to be in his usual form, and his brilliant pasges were con spicuous by their absence, yet at times his kicking was all that could be desired. [The resalts up to date are — Matches played, 9 ; won. 8 ; lost, I.]

Owing to the inability of (he Bulls II to raise a team, their match against the Red Stars did not eventuate yesterday afternoon, and the Unionists did not journey to Palmerston to fulfil their engagement with the Albions on account of the inclemency of the weather.
