Feilding Stipendiary Court

This Day. (Before Mr. Brabant, S.M.I S. J. Thompson v D. R. Lewers, clniiu £'70. Mr Sandilands appeared for the plaintiff, and asked that the case might be struck out. Mr Reade. instructed by Mr Haseldme, of Wellington, made no objection provided the sum of £4 2s, expenses incurred in taking evidence in Wellington, wns allowed. The case was accordingly struck out by consont, with costs, £\ 2s, against the plaintiff. Frank Owen y H. Caltbrop, claim £4 12s. Mr Sandilands for tho plaintiff, for whom judgment was given for tho amount claimed £i Via, with 26s mileage, and 3s costs of court against tbe defendant. Samuel Daw v Norman Chnrlton, claim £14, was adjourned till the 17th of August by consent. J. C. Morey and Co v W. C. Boyd, claim £16 12s lid on a judgment summons. Mr Sandtlands appeared for the plaintiffs. There was no appearance of the defendant, who was ordered to pay the amount within 14 days otherwise to be* imprisoned for three weeks in Wan. ganui gaol. H. Axinp v. W. C. Boyd. This was another judgment summons for the sum of £4 2s 4d. The defendent was ordered to pay the amount within 14 days otherwise six days imprisonment in Wanganui gaol. A. K. Blundell v. D. Manson. The defendant was charged with offering for sale sheep infected with lice, and was fined 20*, with 78 costs of Court. Same v. Dixon, also against John Wratt, for similar offences were each fined 20s, with 7s costs of Court. A. L. Parr v. William Managh, claim £6 145. Mr Reade for the plaintiff. The defendant paid £6 10s into Court after the case had been called on, and was ordered to pay an addition amount of 5s costs of Court, together with 21s solicitor's fee. Samuel Knight v. Herbert Chester, claim . £48 ltts 7d, amount due on a promissory not. Mr Richmond for the plaintiff. There was no appearance of the defendant, against who judgment was given for tbe amount claimed with 31s costs of Court, and solicitor's fee 425. G. J. Scott v. William Managb, claim £30 16*8, was adjourned by consent of both parties till the 3rd of August. (Left sitting.)
