The jury, at the inquest on Thomas Masson, at Mataura, added the following rider to their verdict of accidental death : — ln our opinion the Rugby game of football, as played in New Zealand, is dangerous to life and limb, and the Legislature should take steps to regulate the game so as to improve tho system, somewhat on the lines of the Victorian game.
