- — - — —♦- Gordon and Sons report as follows : — We had a large and successful stock sale at our Bulls yards yesterday. Larger entries of cattle came forward than were advertised, and we had full entries of sheep. The attendance was large, bidding spirited, and all the cattle were sold j excepting 2 small pens, and most of the | sheep. Our quotations are : — Cattle.— Beef, L 6 15s to L 7 5s ; for I bullocks, L 5 ss; fat heifers, L 5 ss; springing heifers, L 4 15s 6d ; 24 year heifers, L 3 98 ; weaners and yearlings mixed, L 2 4s 6cl ; weaners mixed 38s to ,16s 6d; calves, 15s 6d ; milkers, L 5 2s to L 6 15s. Sheep. — Fat wethers, 13» Id ; wethers, 12s Id to 12s yd : young ewes in lamb, varioua prices from 11s 9d to 18s ; for | ewes 8s Sd ; fat ewes, 9s 6d to 10s ; breeding ewes, various prices from 5s to 9s ; shorn ewe hoggets, 10s 4d ; hoggets mixed, various prices from 8s 4d to 9s lid ; 8 and 4 year Lincoln ewos in lamb, 12s od.
