War at Samoa
JPEK I'UESS ASSOCIATION.! "Wellington, This Day. The Alameda brought news from Apia, dated 7th inst, stating that fighting commenced that morning near Apia, between rival fictions of Maletoa Mataafa. Business is very dull in Apia, almost suspended on account of the war, The natives are entrenched a few miles from the town of Apia. Both nativo force* are supplied with arms and ammunition of the latest type by introating foreigners.
