A bricklayer named Ensen, who had been blind in ono eye since childhood, had the misfortune to lose the sight of the other eye yesterday ihruu<„'!i a chisel breaking and striking him on tbe other eye. Anna Warmall, duughter of Mr Warmall, hydropathic practitioner, Lake Takapuua, was . thrown from ber horse while riding and was drugged hanging by her skirt till her dress and clothes gave way. She has been unconscious ever since, suffering from concussion of the brain.
