The united Farmers' Alliance, Ltd., report as under : — Owing to local supplies of grain being almost exhausted, prices for all sorts are firmer and the market shows a fair hardening tendency all round. Wheat — There are few small parcels ottering, but holders are above the market just now and few sales are being made. Prime Tnscan and velvet are worth 8s 5d to 8s 6jd; Hunter's, 8s 4d to Sa fid ; whole fowl wheat, 8s 8d ; seconis, 2s 9d. Oats — Several linos have changed hands at an advance on last week's rates ; prime sparrowbills and tartars are worth 2s 6d ; Duiib, as 5d ; uhort feed, 2s 4d. Barley — There is no malting offering. Cape barloy for seed J3s to 8s 8d ; feed do. '2s 9d. Potatoes — We have sold at equal to 65s on trucks here ; the market is firm at present but it is doubtful if it will hold. Peas— Prussian blueß, 4s ; grey part, ridge, 8s 9d. Boriih— Hand threshed, Us Cd. Chaff— Oaten sheaf, 65s to 67s tid, sacks extra.
