As Others See Us
That very credilably-condacted journal the Feilding Star has now advanced to a daily publication. The Star deserves success, and will, we hope, continue to command it.— Wellington Post. We must congratulate the Fkii, din<| Star on its excellent appearance as a daily paper. It is one of the few Opposition journals of the Colony, who dares to be politically honest in its opinions.— Marton Mercury. foThe Feilding Star is now a daily paper, and as the proprietors have had to go to great expense in enlarging the premises and putting in increased machinery, we have no doubt the inhabitants will show their appreciation of such enterprise. The Star is a well-written, newsy paper, and we wish it a long and prosperous career as a full-blown daily. One thing is certain ; the interests of the settlers are safe in its hands.
