■■*- Messrs Gorton snd Son report :— Our yards last Tuesday, at Sanson, were well filled with sheep. Entries of cattle were small. The bidding was spirited for small lines, and nearly all were sold under the hammer; the Isrger lines being quitted after the sale. AH sheep were •old, excepting one lot of hoggets and a small pen of old ewes. Our quotations are :— Cattle.— Milker*, L 6 to L 7; yeariing steers, L 2 10« 6d ; 18-montbs mixed, L 2 7s to L 2 10s 6il ; weaners, 24*. Sheep.— 2- tooth ewes, in lsmb, 14* 2d ; ewes in lamb, mixed ages, 10i 8d to 12s 6d ; woolly hoggets, 10« ; shorn do., 6s 9d to 10s ; f.m. ewes, in lsmb, 7s 8d ; 2«tooth wethers, 12s 3d.
