Another Strike Threatened
(per press association.) Sydney. This Day. The meeting to consider the question of the strike was attended by 500 seamen. It was decided to have a general strike. This result was received by the majority j with cheers, but a strong section was anything but demonstrative. Two questions were submitted : First, that the strike be enforced against the Australian United Company, which is the only company with a head oilice in Sydney ; second, that the men strike against all owners. The first proposal was carried by an overwhelming majority, but the Becond by only 59. It is not known where the strike will begiu. Adelaidk, This Day.
