(per press association.) Sydney. This Day. The meeting to consider the question of the strike was attended by 500 seamen. It was decided to have a general strike. This result was received by the majority j with cheers, but a strong section was anything but demonstrative. Two questions were submitted : First, that the strike be enforced against the Australian United Company, which is the only company with a head oilice in Sydney ; second, that the men strike against all owners.
