The ordinary monthly meeting of the Education Board waa commenced on Monday. Present — Messrs Notman (Chairman), Sanson, Bridge, Boas, Baker, Fry, Hurley, and Beckett. Ashurst.— From Mr Kitchen accepting position ofpujMl teacher; confirmed. Stanway. — The matter of the Stan way vacancy was referred to the Executive. . Feilding Committee. — From the Feild\L ing Committee recommending the ap. I nient ot Me James Galland as assistantft master. Appointment confirmed. ■ Campbelltown.— From Sarah. BroadW. bell, npplving for ctdetship Resolved that attendance does not warrant appointment. Ohin«iuti. — Resolved that the name of the teacher (.Mr Brook) now acting at i Ohingaiti 'be recommended to the Com--1 nrittee for permanent appointment. I House Allowance. — Mr Beckett moved I the motion, of which he had given notice, A to rescind the present regulation re house BjaWowance.
