Messrs Gorton and Son report as follows: — We had good entries for our Campbelltown sale last week, and the cattle and sheep yards were full. The bidding was not quite so brisk at the sale, but we managed to quit all the sheep at and after, excepting a pen of lambs. We sold a good many cattle, but had to tarn out unsold some very nice heifers, not being quite forward enough in calf to suit purchasers. Our quotations are : — Cattle —24-year steers, £3 17s 6d ; year and 18-months steers, £2 10s; year steers, 38s ; bullocks, £4 15s: store cows, £3 10s; weanor steers, 28s ; heifers springing, £4 12? 6d to £4 7s. SHEEP. — Fat ewe#, 9s 6d ; forward, 7s 9dtoßs6d; 2- tooth ewes in lamb, lls ljd; full-mouth ewes various prices, 6s 6d to 7s 3d.

Messrs Abraham and Williams report aa follows : — Since our last notification of the stock trade we hare held two sales, viz., at Awahuri and Palmerston. At I'almerston jeeterday the entry of cattle was not large. We were fortunate in placing every hoof, with the excoption of a few pure bred ewei and a small pen of wethers. We quote :— At Awahuri :— Spriugers made, £3 2a 6d to £6 12s 6d ; prime fat cows. £6 to £6 108 ; 2-year old steers, £4 9s 6d. Fat owert. 10s 6d; emptj do, 8s; breeding ewen, 9s Id to 9s 3d; culls, 6s to 7s 3d ; strong latnbfl, (nhora), 9s Id ; woolly lambs. 9s 8d to 10s sd ; culls, 6s 8d to 6d Bd. At Palmerston :— Milch cows. £4 to £5 17s; a choice heifer, £7; weaners, £2 Is to £2 7s ; stores, £2 10s to £3 12s; store cows £3 11s; heifers, £3 19s 6dto£4 13s; forward bullocks, £5 13s 6d ; fat heifers, light weights, £5 6a ; store wethers, lls 6d ; 2 -tooth breeding owes, 13s 2d ; 4- tooths, 15s 6d ; 4-tootb to full-moutb, 12s lOd to J4B 6d ; cross bred 4 -tooth, 13s lid; others, 8s Id to 128 lid; culls, 3s; empty ewes, 7s 8d to 7s lOd ; shorn lambs, 6s 9d to 8s 2d ; fat wethers, 13s lOd ; fat ewer, 12s lOd ; fat crossbred*, mixed sexes, 12s lOd ; store do, 9s 4d.
